About
We've seen private banking from the inside
The other side of the table
We've spent years on the other side of the table. Between us, we've worked inside large institutions such as UBS. We've seen how a client is assigned to a banker, and how differently each bank serves the same profile.
What stayed with us
What stayed with us is how much depends on the match. Two clients with the same assets can have very different experiences depending on the bank and, above all, the banker they end up with. Yet in Switzerland that choice still often comes down to personal networks: information on institutions is scattered, and information on bankers is rarely published in a form you can compare.
The question that started it
The idea for AlpineCompare came from a simple question I'm asked again and again on my YouTube channel: “Which private bank should I choose?” We found no resource presenting private bankers and their institutions in a comparable form. So we built one.
What we do
We present our partners' private bankers and independent asset managers on what matters to you: experience, specialities, clientele and languages, alongside public, sourced information on their institution. Based on your answers, we can present up to 6 of them, depending on the profiles that meet your criteria, and you decide who to contact.
We don't manage assets, sell products or give investment advice. Our role is to match and introduce.
How we're funded
AlpineCompare is free for you. We're paid by the partner institution, under a business-introduction agreement, when a client we introduced signs a contract with it. AlpineCompare is published by Mitras Capital Sàrl, which is owned by its founders; no financial institution holds a stake in it.
